Registration

Readers only need a username and email. Your account is password-protected, and we don’t share your data with third parties.
Authors provide additional details for payment processing.
Your contact details are only visible if you opt into being contacted.

Evaluation of Books

If enabled, we can match you with book buddies who share your interests.
Authors receive anonymous feedback to understand their audience better.

How much does it cost to register?

Readers

Completely free! Your ratings contribute to better personalised book recommendations, helping others find great books and supporting authors.

Authors

Flexible pricing: weekly, monthly, or yearly plans based on the number of books you list.
Annual pricing starts at less than 50 EUR (50 USD), lower than many other platforms.
Currently, Quill does not handle book sales, but we’re open to feedback on this feature.

Why are authors charged?

Running Quill takes time and resources. The fee allows authors to promote their books directly to the right audience. Selling just a few books through increased exposure can cover the cost.

This means you would have to sell about

5 books at 10 EUR/USD or

16 books at 3 EUR/USD

within one year to make this a profitable investment for your book.
